How it works

What the first visit looks like

Written to take the worry out of it, for you and for them.

  1. 1You send a short request. We confirm your insurance and find a time that works around school.
  2. 2The first visit is a full hour by video with you and your child. Dr. Justin talks with both of you and, when it is appropriate, with your child alone.
  3. 3You leave with a clear plan and a follow-up date. Nothing is decided without you.

Questions

Questions parents ask

Do you treat ADHD in children?

Yes. ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood changes, and sleep problems are the most common reasons families come to us.

Will you push medication?

No. Medication is one tool. Sometimes the plan is medication, sometimes therapy, sometimes changes at home or school, and often a mix. You will hear the tradeoffs and decide together.

Can you talk to my child's school or therapist?

With your written permission, yes. We are glad to share a treatment summary or complete school forms.

Do you take AHCCCS?

Yes, through Banner-University Family Care and the American Indian Health Program, along with most commercial plans and TRICARE.
