Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, health care providers must give patients who do not have insurance, or who choose not to use their insurance, an estimate of the expected cost of care before services are provided.

What this means for you

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including psychiatric evaluations, follow-up visits, and related services. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule, and we provide one in writing at least one business day before your first visit. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Keep a copy of your estimate for your records.

Our standard self-pay charges

Psychiatric evaluation (initial visit, 60 minutes): $220. Follow-up visit (30 minutes): $120. Additional services such as lab orders, forms, or letters may carry separate charges, which we will tell you about in advance.
